The Lady Tiger volleyball team suffered its first loss of the season Thursday night, dropping a five-set thriller at Mayfield.
Caldwell won the first and third sets, but ultimately dropped a 19-25, 25-14, 22-25, 26-24, 16-14 decision.
Chevy McGowan had seven kills, nine digs and five aces for the Lady Tigers while Alaiyaa Shearer and Troy Freeman each had seven kills as well.
Med Thomas added six kills.
Kylee White recorded five kills to go with 30 assists, 19 digs and four aces. Mycah Riddle totaled three kills and 41 digs.
Maddie Cooper had 19 digs while Tink Clark had 15 digs and four aces.
Caldwell’s girls are now 1-1. They will play several matches on Saturday when they take part in the West Kentucky Smackdown tournament in Hopkinsville.
