Cooper Collins bested his younger fraternal twin, Carson, by a couple of minutes the day they were born.
On Thursday, it was Carson’s turn to best his older brother as the Lyon County seniors finished 1-3 at the Second Region All A Classic Golf Tournament at The Cullan at Mineral Mound State Park.
Carson equaled a career-best score with a 3-over par 75 to defeat University Heights Academy’s Cal Givens, the defending tourney champ, by three shots.

Cohen Wiggins tied for ninth place with a round of 90. Two other Lyons also had top 20 finishes. Jonah Ramey was 18th with a 97, and Jimmy Cowan was 20th with a 99.
Three Lyons played as individuals, and their scores were not included in the team total.
Landon Crouch was 22nd with a 103, Trace Elliott was 24th with a 106, and Kinley Clapp was 29th with a 121.
University Heights Academy claimed the team title by 13 shots over the Lyons.
