It was a pretty good day for Hopkins County Central’s Macy Cotton Thursday on the course at Western Hills. Cotton finished her afternoon with a nine-hole round of 38 and took medalist honors by five shots in a match involving players from Christian County, Madisonville-North Hopkins, and Hopkins County Central.
The round of 38 was a personal best for Cotton.
Cotton finished five shots ahead of Madisonville’s Reagan Ramsey, who shot a 43. The Lady Maroons’ Emma Duncan took third place with a round of 44.
