Caldwell County finished in fourth place at the Second Region All A Classic Golf Tournament on Thursday, with Landon Mitchell bagging a top 10 finish.
Mitchell shot a round of 90 at the Cullan at Mineral Mound State Park, which tied him for ninth place.
Scott Cortner shot a round of 98, which placed him 19th. Preston Alfred finished in a 21st-place tie with a score of 103. Brody Kirk (114) was 26th. And Lucas Harper finished in 30th place.
Lyon County’s Carson Collins shot a 3-over-par 75 to take 1st place.
Caldwell County’s score of 405 was one shot better than 5th-place Crittenden County. University Heights Academy won the team title for the second straight year with a score of 328.
