Lyon County will be sending two golfers to the Girls’ All A Classic State Golf Tournament next month in Richmond.
Brenna Breitrick finished in third place at the Second Region All A Classic held at the Cullan at Mineral Mounds State Park. Her round of 89 was good for third place and was seven shots behind the winner, Allie Sandifer of University Heights Academy.
Jenna Coursey finished in fifth place with a round of 95. Both Breitrick and Coursey had the two lowest individual rounds to qualify for the All A Classic State Tournament to be played on September 6 at Arlington Golf Club in Richmond.
Breitrick tied for 35th place at last year’s state tournament, which was held at Gibson Bay Golf Course across town from Arlington.
