The University Heights Lady Blazers and Caldwell County Lady Tigers soccer teams faced off in the finale of the 2nd Region All-A Classic, and it was UHA that was able to take control and exhibit their red-hot offense.
The Lady Tigers scored one goal in the game, and it came from Kiya Sears in the first half to tie the game at one goal apiece at the time. But after that, it was all UHA.
Skylar Cantrell and Kendall Hancock each had three goals and two assists, as they were both able to capitalize on the chances they got around the net. Audrey Perry, Alyssa Grise, and Presley Bruce also each had a goal. All of them played a big part in the team being able to grab the 8-1 win.
The Lady Blazers will be looking to build on this win and stay undefeated in their next game on Saturday, August 23, against South Warren at home. That game is scheduled to start at 10 a.m.
As for the Lady Tigers, they will hope they can get back on track when they play the Trigg County Lady Wildcats on the road on Monday, August 25. Their game is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
