Clarksville Northwest capitalized on Fort Campbell mistakes and used 570 yards of offense to clobber the Falcons 53-13 in the second game of the Wildcat Chevrolet Bowl at Trigg County’s Purdue Field on Friday.

The 53 points are the most scored by the Vikings since a 2014 win over Houston County, and its 48-point margin of victory was the largest for the Clarksville School since a 46-0 win over West Creek in 2016.

Jamarcus Andrews got the Vikings on the board late in the first quarter on a 46-yard run. The Vikings went up 12-0 when Brian Miller caught a short screen pass from Jackson Hazel and went 53 yards to the end zone. It was the first of five touchdowns scored in the final six minutes of the first half, four by Northwest.

After the Vikings went up 12-0, J.P. Perryman returned the kickoff 84 yards for a touchdown to get Fort Campbell on the scoreboard.

The Vikings scored on a double handoff as Elijah Holland reached paydirt from 24 yards out to put Northwest up 18-7 with 3:38 left in the first half.

Andrews added his second touchdown of the half on a 75-yard run that was set up by a Falcon fumble.

A third Falcon fumble of the first half quickly set up Northwest’s fourth touchdown of the quarter as Hazel found Miller with a 46-yard scoring pass that gave the Vikings a 31-7 lead they would take into the locker room at halftime.

Neither team scored in the third quarter, but Jarvis Everett scored a pair of touchdowns within 90 seconds of each other, one from 15 yards out, the other from 53 yards. Everett finished with 106 yards rushing on just seven second-half carries.

Andrews led the way for the Vikings with 153 yards and two touchdowns on just four touches.

The Vikings ran the football 30 times for 433 yards and completed five of seven passes for 137 yards.

Keshawn Dixon led Fort Campbell with 106 yards on 20 carries. He scored the Falcons’ lone second-half touchdown on a three-yard run with 5.59 left. He also caught four passes for 92 yards.

Perryman ran 14 times for 86 yards and completed five passes for 92 yards.

Fort Campbell had 207 rushing yards and 299 yards of total offense.

The Falcons hurt themselves with five turnovers, which Northwest turned into four touchdowns.

Fort Campbell returns to action on Thursday when it hosts the Clarksville Academy at Fryar Stadium.
