University Heights Academy continues to put up low team scores as they prepare for the All A Classic State Golf Tournament in two weeks.
The Blazers finished in ninth place Saturday at the Christian County Invitational hosted by Western Hills Golf Course.
The Blazers had a team score of 324, which was two shots behind eighth-place Henderson County. Three teams shot under 300, with McCracken County’s team score of 278, five shots better than second-place Madison Central.
Cal Givens and Hayden Hunt each shot an 8-over par 80 to finish tied for 37th place. Bryson Turner and Courtland Gibson each had an 82, and Jackson Flynn shot an 84 as all five scorers finished within four shots of another.
