Dawson Springs had five runners compete at the Trigg County Fenton Dawson Cross Country Invitational on Saturday.
Four Lady Panthers went to the start line, with two of them finishing inside the top 20. Ashtyn Swatzell came in 14th place with a time of 23:40, which was 23 seconds faster than her twin sister, Baylee, who came in 16th place.
Alyssa Allison was 40th with a time of 27:12, and Briley Sawyer came in 57th place with a time of 30:23. Murray’s Jade Green won the race in a time of 21:26.
Deacon Deaver was the lone male runner for the Panthers as he finished in 36th place with a time of 20:31 over the 3.1-mile course. Apollo’s Noah Gray won the race with a time of 16:17.
