
Fort Campbell placed four runners in the top 22 and took home the first-place trophy at Saturday’s Trigg County Fenton Dawson Memorial Cross Country Invitational held at the Trigg Recreation Complex.
Jayden Perry was the first Falcon to cross the finish line, covering the 3.1-mile course in a time of 18:33. Seth Puraty finished in 12th place with a time of 18:49.
He was followed across the finish line by Ryker Kramer in 14th place. He had a run of 19:11.
Liam Voelkel, a freshman, finished in 30th place with a time of 20:11, followed by Lincoln Wilbur in 37th place with a time of 20:32.
Charlie Phillip was 44th in 21:08, Alexander Heinrich was 47th in 21:13, and Noah Flick was 50th in 21:46. Layne Barbee ran a time of 22:23 and came in 62nd place.
The Falcons finished 14 points ahead of 2nd place Paducah Tilghman.
For the ladies, freshman Delaney Perry led the Lady Falcons with a 25th-place finish. She covered the 3.1-mile course in a time of 24:42. Alexa Doyle came in 56th place with a time of 30:07. Murray’s Jade Green was the race winner with a time of 21:26.
