HCA Runners Score 11th Place Finish at Fenton Dawson Invitational

Heritage Christian Academy opened the 2025 cross-country season with an 11th-place finish at Trigg County’s Fenton Dawson Memorial Cross Country Invitational that was held Saturday at the Trigg Recreation Complex.

Aaron Hensley led the Warrior runners with a 38th-place finish. He covered the 3.1-mile course in a time of 20:38, five seconds faster than teammate Cadyn Travis, who came in 40th place.

Ben Hensley, an 8th grader, finished 82nd in 24 minutes while Ryan Goforth came in 94th place in 26:35. Kollin Stokes rounded out the scoring for the Warriors with a 106th-place finish in 38:51.

HCA’s team total was 254, which was 23 points behind 10th-place Murray.

In the girls’ race, sophomore Jenna Calhoun represented HCA and finished in 69th place in the varsity race with a time of 32:07.

Murray’s Jade Green took first place as she finished with a time of 21:26
