Henderson County finished in eighth place at the Christian County Colonel Invitational held on Saturday at Western Hills Golf Course.
The Colonels had a team score of 322, which was 6 points behind 7th-place Owensboro Catholic. McCracken County was one of three teams to shoot under 300. The Mustangs took first place with a score of 278, five shots better than Madison Central.
Jake Hayden had a top 20 finish for the Colonels. His score of 2 over par 74 was good for his 17th-place tie. Mason Ranes shot a five-over par at 77 to finish in 29th place.
Wyatt DeWitt shot an 81, followed by Bentley Simpson’s 90 and Evan Dalton’s 93.
