This week’s Jersey Mike’s ‘Player of the Game’ for the week of August 18 is Hopkinsville High School’s James Bradley Jr. James was selected based on his efforts at last Friday night’s final season-opening football game for the Hopkinsville Tigers against Nashville Stratford.

Bradley was directly involved in five touchdowns for the Tigers as they roared to the 49-13 win in the game that kicked off the final season of football ever for the Hopkinsville program.

He rushed for three touchdowns and hooked up with Aiden Jesse for two more through the air to give Hopkinsville its first opening-night victory since the 2020 season.

The Jersey Mike’s ‘Player of the Game’ is selected each week from one of the five schools in Christian County (Christian County, Hopkinsville, University Heights, Heritage Christian, and Fort Campbell) based on their performance in a big game or event for their team that week.
