Two Tigers Bring Hoptown Top-10 Finishes at Fenton Dawson Invitational

Hopkinsville High School had three runners compete at Saturday’s Trigg County Fenton Dawson Memorial Cross Country Invitational, with two of them finishing in the top ten.

Savior Davis came in sixth place as he covered a 3.1-mile course in a time of 18:13. Tyson Cavender came in eighth place, 10 seconds behind Davis in 18:23. Fernando Rojas was 81st with a time of 23:51.

Hopkinsville did not have the five runners necessary to produce a team score. Apollo’s Noah Gray won the race in 16:17, which was five seconds faster than second-place Tristan Coy of Union County.
