
Trigg County brought home an eighth-place finish at Saturday’s Fenton Dawson Memorial Cross Country Invitational held at the Trigg County Recreation Complex.
Dekon Perry led the Wildcat runners on the redesigned 3.1-mile course with a 25th-place finish in 19:47. Dominic Skinner was 31st with a time of 20:12, and Grant Gallogly was 52nd in 21:47.
Max Disney came in 78th place in 23:30, and Grady Oliphant crossed the finish line in 83rd place in 24:05. Freshman Joshua Cathey came in 101st place in a time of 28:42.
Trigg County’s team total of 198 was 33 points behind 7th-place McCracken County and 15 points better than 9th-place Todd County Central. Fort Campbell took the team title was 76 points.
