Caldwell’s Girls Continue Dominance Over Webster

Caldwell County’s girls continue to dominate the all-time series on the soccer pitch against Webster County.

The Lady Tigers needed just 40 minutes to finish off an 8-0 triumph over the Lady Trojans Tuesday night at Butler Stadium in Caldwell’s 2025 home opener.

Three different Lady Tigers had two goals as Caldwell pushed its all-time advantage against Webster to 19-0.

In the last six meetings between the two schools, the Lady Tigers have outscored the Lady Trojans 40-1.

Mariah Vickery scored the first of her two goals just 1:08 into the contest when she dribbled in on the right side and blasted a shot into the net.

Kinlee Rowland scored following a Kiya Sears corner kick in the 13th minute to make it 2-0.

Aliya Towns scored back-to-back goals in the 15th and 19 minutes. Towns took a pass from Paisley Hooks, dribbled through traffic and scored from point-blank range for her first goal. Rowland picked up the assist on the second tally as Towns against found an opening in front of the goal.

Sears came up with consecutive goals in the 26th and 28th minutes. Sears got help from Towns on her first tally. Sears’ second goal came when she bent a corner kick that went off the goalkeeper’s hands and into the net to extend Caldwell’s lead to 6-0.

Sears earned another assist in the 31st minute, setting up a goal by Karmen Beasley in front of the net.

Sears picked up her third helper in the 34th minute when her cross was finished by Vickery, who picked up her second goal of the night to make it 8-0.

The match was over at halftime as Caldwell had reached the eight-goal mercy rule.

Shylee Hinchee had to make just one save in the Lady Tiger net.

The Lady Tigers are now 4-2 this season with a trip to Todd County Central coming up on Thursday.
