The Hopkins County Central Lady Storm went into their Tuesday evening matchup with the Calloway County Lady Lakers looking for their fourth win in a row, but they were not able to get it.

The first half was all Calloway, as they were able to score four goals. The Lady Storm played some solid defense in the latter part of the half, as they did not give up a goal for over 20 minutes, but their defense slipped and the Lady Lakers scored with a minute remaining.

Hopkins Central started the scoring in the second half, as Destiny Caudill sent a pass over to Lilly Armour, who scored the goal 12 minutes into the period.

But Calloway was able to hold and built their lead with two goals in the last 11 minutes to seal their win 6-1.

The Lady Storm will be looking to bounce right back in their next game on Thursday, August 28, against Ohio County at home. The game is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
