Henderson Girls Bounce Back With Win Over Christian County

c1-2

After suffering their first loss of the season in a shutout at Marshall County on Saturday, the Henderson County Lady Colonels bounced back on Tuesday with a 7-0 victory over visiting Christian County.

Despite an impressive career high of 24 saves for Christian County goalkeeper Neziyah Bell, the Lady Colonels couldn’t avoid their fourth straight loss to start the season.

Henderson improved to 4-1 ahead of a visit from Daviess County on Thursday.  The Lady Colonels have dropped the last three meetings in the series, with their most recent win coming in 2020.  The Lady Panthers will enter the contest at 4-3 after a 6-0 victory over Apollo on Tuesday.

Christian County will look to right the ship when it goes on the road for an early-morning game at Logan County on Saturday.  The Lady Cougars are riding a six-game winning streak in the series with the Lady Colonels.
