
The Todd County Central volleyball team won its third straight match and topped district rivals Franklin-Simpson for the fifth straight time in the series with a 3-0 road victory on Tuesday.
After a bit of a slow start against the winless Lady Wildcats, the Lady Rebels got going to take the first set 25-21. Todd Central went on to comfortable wins in the final two sets by scores of 25-19 and 25-16.
Allyssa Wofford posted 20 kills to lead the Lady Rebels, along with five digs. Aubri Penick racked up 10 kills, Shelby Holderman chipped in 29 assists and four aces, and Chloe Collins added 15 digs.
Todd Central improved to 4-3, 1-0 in district play, ahead of a trip to Hopkinsville on Thursday.
Franklin-Simpson dropped to slipped to 0-8 with a district matchup with Logan County coming up next week.
