The Trigg County Lady Wildcats soccer team were looking for their fourth straight win in their game in the Kentucky 2A Sectional against the Murray High Lady Tigers. But they were not able to get the job done, as Murray was able to win 6-0.

Murray’s first goal of the game came from a penalty kick with 22 minutes left in the first half. Trigg was then able to keep them from scoring until the last six minutes of the half, but that is when the Lady Tigers were able to score two more times before the halftime break.

After 13 minutes of no scoring in the second half, Murray was able to break it open. They scored three goals in a matter of just over a minute, and that sealed the win for them.

Trigg County plays their next game on Thursday, August 28, where they will be looking to bounce back against Crittenden County on the road. The game is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
