The Christian County Colonels soccer team took on the Trigg County Wildcats on Monday evening looking for their first win, but they were not able to get that win, as Trigg’s offense could not be slowed down.
Christian County scored its first goal of the season, and it was Noah Davis who was the first Colonel to put on into the back of the net. The goal was assisted by Misael Baltazar. Unfortunately, one goal was not enough to hold the Wildcats.
They were able to score six goals and win the game 6-1, which gives them their second win of the season, and first since their first game.
The Wildcats will try to start a win streak in their next game against the Murray Tigers on Tuesday, August 26, in the Boys 2A Sectional Tournament. The game is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. at the Trigg County Recreational Complex.
As for the Colonels, they will be looking for their first win on Thursday, August 28, at Fort Campbell. Their game is scheduled for 6 p.m.
