
The Hopkinsville Tigers soccer team went into their matchup with the Henderson County Colonels having won their last game. Unfortunately, they were not able to start a win streak, as they went down 5-2 on Wednesday evening.
The Tigers had two goals in the game, and they came from Eric Hernandez and Jason Macario The latter scored his goal off of a penalty kick.
It was not enough to get the best of the Colonels, as they were able to hold their lead and win by three goals.
Raul Rivera also had six saves over the course of the game for the Tigers.
Hopkinsville will be looking to bounce back in their next game on the road against Caldwell County on Tuesday, September 2. The game is scheduled to begin at 7:15 a.m.
