It was possibly the best win of the early part of the 2025 volleyball season for Heritage Christian Academy. The Lady Warriors had to battle every set but ultimately took the sweep over Crittenden County on Thursday night.
Both teams are expected to contend for the 2nd Region All A Classic championship, which Crittenden County won last year, defeating Heritage Christian on their home floor in the title match.
HCA took the opening set over the Lady Rockets 25-20. The second set was even closer as the Lady Warriors took a tough 25-23 win to go up two sets to none.
Heritage Christian then closed out the match by taking a 25-21 win in the third set.
Bralee Fowler led the Lady Warriors on the attack with 11 kills. Hadlee Hayes chipped in with 8 kills of her own.
Makenzie McCarty ended the match with 16 assists and 6 kills.
Heritage Christian improves to 6-3 with the win. The Lady Warriors will be back at home next Thursday night when they host the Madisonville-North Hopkins Lady Maroons.
