Several months ago All-American Creslyn Brose noted on WLAP Sunday Morning Sports Talk that Kentucky gymnastics would host a 2026 NCAA Regional Championship at Memorial Coliseum.

Now the official announcement has been made as part of the unveiling of UK’s 2026 home schedule.

Kentucky opens the season Jan. 10 in Utah in the Sprouts Farmers Market Collegiate Quad but will have five home regular-season matches along with hosting the NCAA Regional.

Kentucky will host Arizona State, Oklahoma, Missouri, Florida and Georgia. Oklahoma won the 2025 national title, Florida and Missouri reached the national championships, and Arizona State and Georgia were both NCAA Regional participants.

Coach Tim Garrison’s team will host Arizona State the weekend of January 16. It will be the first meeting between the two programs since tying at the 2021 NCAA Salt Lake City Regional Final.

The weekend of January 30 seven-time national champion Oklahoma will be in Memorial Coliseum. The two teams have met 15 times, but this will be just the second timeOklahoma has competed in Lexington and first since Excite Night 2012—the first meet in Garrison’s tenure.

Missouri will be in Lexington the weekend of February 13 and Georgia will compete in Memorial Coliseum the weekend of February 27.

The Wildcats will close the regular season with a showdown with Florida on the weekend of March 13.

Kentucky has not hosted a NCAA Regional Championship since 2010. This season’s NCAA Regional will be  April 1-5.

Brose debuted at the National Championships in 2025 and closed the meet with a 9.900 on floor to finish in a tie for 15th and earn All-American honors. Brose was the outright floor champion of the 2025 NCAA Pennsylvania Regional.

Twice a Regular Season All-American in the event, scored a perfect 10 on floor in a regular-season win over Arkansas. She became only the fourth UK gymnast to score a 10. Brose has 19 career scores of 9.9 or higher on floor in only 22 routines competed.

Kentucky also returns junior Delaynee Rodriguez who got her first win on bars against national champions LSU last season. She was the lead for Kentucky on different apparatuses multiple times last season and will be expected to be one of the team leaders for a young team that has only one senior Isabella Rivelli and seven freshmen.
