
Hopkinsville and Todd County Central tied for first place in a three-team golf match with Christian County on Thursday at Western Hills Golf Course.
Isiah Wood was the medalist with a two-over par 38, one shot better than Todd Central’s Noah Rager.
Henry Riggs shot a 46 for Hopkinsville, followed by Sam Riggs (47) and Ryan Martin (50).
Weston Strader shot a 44 for Todd Central, with Hunter Johnson (47) and Garland Lester (51) also scoring for the Rebels.
As for the No. 5 golfers on the scoresheet, J.B. Payne shot a 44 for Hopkinsville, and Liam Christmas shot a 59 for Todd Central
Also playing for Hopkinsville were Landyn Hollimon (51), Aiden Riley (56), and Alex Naylor (65).
Christian County finished in third place as the Colonels were led by Drew Fincham and Chris Adcock, who each shot a 47. Cansler Wells shot a 54, followed by Clayton Dixon (57) and Reed Ezell (61).
Todd County and Hopkinsville each had a score of 181, with Christian County third at 205.
For the girls, Todd Central’s Naomi Welborn took medalist honors with a 53, with Christian County’s Anslee West shooting a 66.
