
After suffering their first loss of the season earlier in the week to Calloway County in the Kentucky 2A sectionals, the Hopkins County Central Lady Storm came back with a solid answer Thursday night in Mortons Gap.
The Lady Storm took control of their match with Ohio County early and rolled to an 8-0 win over the Lady Eagles.
The win was the third shutout Hopkins County Central so far this season and improved their record to 4-1 for the year.
Outside of the loss to Calloway County, the Lady Storm have given up just one goal for the season, that coming in a 7-1 win over Paducah Tilghman.
Up next for the Lady Storm is the matchup against their cross-county rival, and a big 7th District battle against Madisonville-North Hopkins. That is set for 7pm Tuesday night at Donley Field.
