The Fort Campbell Lady Falcons soccer team went into their Saturday morning matchup with Mayfield having lost two straight games. Luckily, they were able to snap that losing streak with a strong 10-2 win over the Lady Cardinals.
Heading into halftime, the Lady Falcons had already built up a 6-2 lead with some early offense. After the break, they were able to keep up the pressure and score four more goals to secure their second victory of the season.
Abby Allen was able to score four of the team’s 10 goals, as she had a huge day. A’mari Grimsley and Avery Katz each had two goals, while Daniela Hernandez and Alexa Aubuchon had one.
The Lady Falcons will be looking to start a win streak in their next game on Thursday, September 4, against West Creek at home. The game is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m.
