The Christian County Lady Colonels soccer team went into their matchup with the Logan County Lady Cougars still looking for their first win of the season. Though they did not lose the game, they were unfortunately still not able to find that first win, as the game ended in a tie.
The team had eight shots on goal over the course of the game, and their goal came from junior Jayleigh Campbell.
Goalkeeper Neziyah Bell also had nine saves in net to prevent the Lady Cougars from scoring and breaking the tie.
The Lady Colonels will continue looking for their first victory in their next game on Tuesday, September 2, against Webster County. The game is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. at the Stadium of Champions’ soccer fields.
