The Christian County girls’ soccer team got in the win column for the first time this season on Tuesday, edging out a 5-4 victory over Webster County for the Lady Colonels’ ninth-straight win in the series with the Lady Trojans.
Carliah Hobson’s hat trick led the way for Christian County, with Emerson Boyd adding a pair of goals and Jayleigh Campbell finding the back of the net to round out the scoring.
Neziyah Bell made 10 saves to help the Lady Colonels hold on for the win and improve to 1-4-1. Christian County will host Trigg County at the Stadium of Champions on Thursday, with the Lady Wildcats winning the last two meetings.
Webster County slipped to 1-5 with Todd County Central set to visit on Thursday.
