Jaidyn Holland scored twice on Tuesday, and for the seventh straight game in the series, the Todd County Central girls’ soccer team held Russellville to a goal or less on the way to a 4-1 victory. The Lady Rebels beat their district rivals for the 11th time in a row to improve to 2-4, 1-2 in district play.

Holland opened the scoring with just 13 minutes played, and Varina Rager doubled the advantage with five minutes remaining in the first half.

Kathrine Caprio added a third 16 minutes after the break before Holland took her season goal tally to three to round out the scoring just two minutes later.

Russellville lost its fifth straight to slip to 1-6 and remain winless against district opponents.

The Lady Rebels will hit the road on Thursday to face Webster County. The teams played to a draw in last season’s meeting, with the Lady Trojans winning the two previous matches.
