Leal Paces Lady Maroons at Madisonville Classic

Madisonville-North Hopkins placed two runners in the top 20 of its own invitational run on Saturday.

Running her first cross country race, sophomore Neli Leal came in 13^th place in a time of 26:27 over the 3.1-mile course.

Brandilyn Perdue completed the run in a personal best time of 28:09, crossing the finish line in 16^th place.

Lillian Blackburn came in 38^th place in a time of 37:40.

Hopkinsville’s Lauren Mayes won the race in a time of 21:20.
