Athletic officials at Madisonville-North Hopkins are introducing the members of the latest class of the Madisonville All Sports Hall of Fame. Among those to be inducted this year is Cullen Reynolds.

Reynolds is being inducted for his career with the Madisonville-North Hopkins Football Team.

The 2015 graduate was a Courier-Journal and Associated Press First Team All-State performer as a Maroon and played for coach Brock Shoulders.

Reynolds helped lead the Maroons to a 10-3 record and a berth in the quarterfinals of the KHSAA 4A state playoffs. Behind his work up front, the Maroons ran for 3,658 yards and 50 touchdowns as a team his senior year. The Maroons also eclipsed the 3,000 rushing yard mark in Reynolds’ junior season.

He received a full athletic scholarship to Western Kentucky University, where he enrolled early in the spring of 2015. His time at WKU saw the Hilltoppers win back-to-back Conference USA titles in 2015 and 2016, along with three bowl appearances in his 4 years on the hill.

Reynolds now resides in Bowling Green and is a project manager for Scotty’s Contracting and Stone, one of the leading road construction organizations in the state.

Formal induction ceremonies are set for Friday, September 12.
