
The Todd County Central Rebels took on the Russellville Panthers at home on Thursday evening, and they were able to get their second-straight win.
The Rebels were able to come away with the victory in a close 2-1 game, as they were able to put forth one of their best defensive games of the season so far. Both of their goals came in the first half, one from Spencer Pool three minutes in, and the second from John Ross Cardwell with a minute left.
As for their goalkeeper, John Mark Campbell, he finished the game with six saves, and a few of them came in big moments.
Todd County Central will be looking to extend their win streak to three games in their matchup with Foundation Christian Academy on the road on Saturday, September 6. The game is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m.
