The Christian County Colonels and University Heights Academy soccer teams faced off on Thursday evening, and the latter was able to bounce back from their first loss of the season in their last game.
They were able to get the mercy rule with a score of 8-0, and it was due in no small part to a pair of hat tricks from Graham Conrad and Cal Givens. Jack Cavanah, Clayton Lester, and Lincoln Hauret also each had a goal.
As for the goalkeepers, UHA’s Hayden Fitzsimmons had two saves, while Christian County’s Preston Gentry had four.
The Colonels will continue looking for their first win in their next game on Monday, September 8, against the Madisonville-North Hopkins Maroons. Their game is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. from the Stadium of Champions soccer fields.
As for the Blazers, they will be hoping to continue the fantastic start to their season in their next game against Heritage Christian Academy at home on Friday, September 5. That game will start at 6 p.m.

Lets remember Graham, a freshman set the record for fastest hat trick in UHA history and probably District and Region history as well in 4 minutes
