Saturday’s Lady Colonel Classic did not get off to the kind of start that the Hopkinsville Lady Tigers were looking for. North Hardin scored three goals in a span of less than 8 minutes as the Lady Trojans rolled past the Lady Tigers 8-0 in Hopkinsville’s first game of the day.
The Lady Trojans added two more goals in the final two minutes of the first half to extend the lead to 5-0 at the break. The last three goals of the half were all scored by North Hardin sophomore Payton Perry.
North Hardin continued to roll, scoring three more goals in the first 30 minutes of the second game to reach the eight goal mercy rule.
Hopkinsville dropped to 4-6 with the loss.
