
The Lyon County Lady Lyons went into their game against Webster County having just lost their last game, and they were able to bounce back with a win over the Lady Trojans.
The Lady Lyons were able to get out to an early start in the first half, as they took a 3-1 lead into the break. After that, they scored a few more goals to secure the 5-2 win, which is their third of the season.
Lyla Melton had a big day with two goals, while Mara Lucas, Chloe Gandee, and Karli Patterson each had a goal apiece.
The team will be looking to start a win streak in their next game on Tuesday, September 9, against the Trigg County Wildcats at home. The game is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m.
