The University Heights Academy boys golf team finished in ninth place at the All A Classic State Golf Tournament played on Saturday at Gibson Bay Golf Course in Richmond.
Hayden Hunt had the top round for the Blazers. He shot a 1-under par 71 to tie for sixth place.
Cal Givens tied for 44th place with a round of 80, while Hugh Sisk shot an 82. Bryson Turner shot an 86, and Courtland Gibson shot an 87 for the Blazers.
Hazard’s Brayden Baker won the tournament with a 3-under-par 69, one of eight players to shoot in the red.
Hazard won the team title with a 290, two shots better than second-place Lexington Christian Academy.
UHA’s score of 319 was a season-low and good for ninth place. It was also 27 shots better than last year’s score.
