A pair of top 10 finishes for the Hopkinsville Lady Tigers Saturday. Hopkinsville was among the teams participating in the Storm Invitational cross country meet hosted by Hopkins County Central.
Hopkinsville’s Alexis Herrera-Lovato le the Lady Tigers with a 5th place finish at 23:22.07. Kaydon Coats, who later in the day played in a pair of soccer matches for the Lady Tigers, ended up 9th in 24:46.81, followed by Evelyn Bangart in 25:33.09, just missing a medal in 16th place.
Lauren Mayes finished in 20th, and Luanna Acree finished out the effort with a 60th place finish.
As a team, the Lady Tigers finished 4th out of 15 teams taking part in the meet.
