
Madisonville-North Hopkins came in 10th place at Saturday’s Hopkins County Storm Invitational Run just outside of Mortons Gap.
The first Maroon across the finish line was freshman Kaleb Dunkley, who came in 19th place with a personal best time of 19:26 over the 3.1-mile course.
Trevor Fox was 26th with a time of 19:59, breaking the 20-minute mark for the first time. Connor Jernigan came in 67th place in 23:29 while Brodie Beard was 72nd in 23:47.
Trey Tooley was 88th in 26:29, while Mason Dunbar was 90th in 27:22, and Shad McDurmon was 93rd in 28:21.
Union County’s Thomas Davis won the race in a time of 17:09.
As a team, Madisonville totaled 211 points to finish seven points ahead of 11th-place Franklin Simpson and 14 points behind ninth-place Stewart County, Tennessee.
