Madisonville-North Hopkins took home the first place trophy at Saturday’s Henderson County Golf Invitational played at the Henderson Country Club.
The Maroons’ team score of 308 was seven shots better than second place Henderson County and ten shots better than Murray in the 17-team field.
Jake Witherspoon shot a three-over-par 75 to tie for second place. He carded three birdies on the front nine as part of a 36 and came in with a 39.
Treyson Raymer finished in fifth place with a 4-over-par 76. He bounced back from a tough front nine with three birdies on the back nine as part of a 1 under par 35.
Tyler Bryan finished in sixth place with a 5-over-par 77, which included a birdie on the back nine.
Spencer Munchbach tied for 12th place with an 8-over-par 80. He had a birdie on each side of the course.
Max Clayton tied for 56th place with a 27 over par 99.
Bronson Tippett of El Dorado, Illinois, won the event with a 1-over-par 73.
