
Easton Bourland set a school record and brought home first place at Saturday’s McCracken County Cross Country Invitational held just outside of Paducah.
Bourland completed the 3.1-mile campus course in a time of 16:03, bettering his own school record time by 32 seconds.
He was able to coast across the finish line 20 seconds ahead of the second-place runner.
Preston Drennan was 47th with a time of 20:03, while Chandler Anderson was 68th in 21:26, and Lucas Duke ran a time of 23:18 to finish in 86th place as Dawson Springs was one runner short of fielding the full five to register a team score.
