Caldwell County’s golfers placed second in a three-team match at Marion Country Club on Monday.
Host Crittenden County took top honors with a team score of 189. Caldwell County was five shots back while Dawson Springs finished third.
Caldwell’s Scott Cortner and Crittenden’s Cash Singleton each shot rounds of 45, but Singleton took medalist honors on a countback hole.
Presten Alfred shot a 46 for the Tigers while Landon Mitchell carded a 48, Lukas Harper 55 and Brody Kirk 63.
For Crittenden, Mitchell Brown shot 46, Bentley Rushing 48, Jaxton Duncan 50 and Hudson Stokes 51.
Chase Miles led Dawson Springs with a 58.
