West of the lakes can be a tough place for 2nd Region teams to play. That turned out to be the case Tuesday night for the Hopkinsville Tigers.
After having their match against Todd County Central canceled for Tuesday night, the Tigers picked up a match with Calloway County and traveled to take on the Lakers.
Calloway County ended up with its second straight win as the Lakers turned back the Tigers 5-1.
Hopkinsville’s lone goal was scored by Anthony Evangelista.
Raul Rivera had seven saves in goal for the Tigers.
Hopkinsville (4-4-1) is scheduled to host the Russellville Panthers Thursday evening at the Stadium of Champions.
