
Hopkinsville had two runners place in the top 11 at Saturday’s Hopkins County Central Storm Invitational just outside of Mortons Gap.
Tyson Cavinder finished in sixth place for the Tigers. The junior completed the 3.1-mile course on the school campus in 18:10 for his third top-10 finish of the season.
Savior Davis came in 11th place in 18:50. Fernando Ginez Rojas ran a time of 22:52 to finish in 62nd place, and Jacob Carter finished in 101st place.
Union County’s Thomas Davis won the race with a time of 17:09.
Hopkinsville did not send the necessary five runners to the starting line to register a team score.
