The Christian County Colonels soccer team was looking for their first win of the season on Wednesday evening against the Henderson County Colonels, but they were not able to do that, as they lost 9-1 in a mercy rule.

Their lone goal in the game came from Noah Davis, who was assisted on the play by Victor Hernandez. As for the defensive end, goalkeeper Preston Gentry still had 14 saves in net, despite the loss.

The team’s next game will be a good opportunity to get their first win of the season, as they will be up against Heritage Christian Academy, who is also winless on the season. This will be the first of two more games that the Colonels will play on this five game home stand.

They will be up against the Warriors on Tuesday, September 16. The game is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. at the Stadium of Champions soccer fields.
