You tend not to lose many soccer matches when your defense does not give up a shot on goal. That is what happened for the Madisonville-North Hopkins Lady Maroons Thursday night as they rolled to an 8-0 win over the Webster County Lady Trojans.
The Lady Maroons outshot the Lady Trojans 20 to 0 on the way to their 4th straight win, three of those coming by shutout.
Camree Young led five Lady Maroons who found the net with three goals. McKinley Wilson added two. Taylor Nelson, Katelynn Howard, and Hadley Hodges added one goal each.
McKinley Wilson, Taylor Barber, Macy Wright, Camree Young, Adyson Hollie, and Elizabeth Ashby had one assist each.
The Lady Maroons improve to 8-3 with the win and now get ready to go to Bowling Green Tuesday to take on the Lady Purples.
