
The Hopkins County Central Lady Storm soccer team went into their game against the Fort Campbell Lady Falcons looking for their seventh win in a row. and they were able to get it with a score of 6-1.
The Storm went into the halftime break with a 2-1 lead, and they were able to come out of the half hot. They scored four more times and secured their tenth victory of the season.
Lilly Armour was the star of the game for the Lady Storm, as she finished with half of the team’s goals. Emma Vandiver had two of the other goals, and Jaci Childress had the other one.
As for the Lady Falcons, their goal came from Abigail Cantivar, while goalkeeper Avaley Moore had 15 saves in net.
They will be looking to bounce back and snap their two-game losing streak in their next game on Monday, September 15, against the University Heights Lady Blazers on the road. The game is scheduled to start at 6 p.m.
As for Hopkins Central, they will look for their eighth win in a row on Monday, September 15, against Caldwell County at home. Their game is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
