
Muhlenberg County broke a scoreless tie with a pair of goals in the final moments of the first half and went on to take a 3-1 win over the Fort Campbell Falcons on Senior Night on post.
The Mustangs scored with 4:23 left in the opening half and then again with 2:41 to go to take a 2-0 lead into the break.
The Falcons cut the lead down to 2-1 with a goal of their own from Dylan McDonald with 7:32 left but could not find a way to score another late goal to tie the match.
Muhlenberg County would add a goal in the final seconds to get to the final two goal margin.
The loss drops the Falcons to 2-5 on the season. They are back in action on the road Saturday night at Graves County.
