
Caldwell County’s Scott Cortner fired a 1-over-par 37 to claim medalist honors Thursday in a three-team match against Hopkins County Central and Livingston Central.
Teammate Landon Mitchell shot a 39 in action at Princeton Golf Club.
Hopkins Central took team honors in a close match with a 170. Caldwell was next at 172 while Livingston shot 176.
Other scores for Caldwell saw Presten Alfred shoot a 45, Lukas Harper 51 and Brody Kirk 52.
Playing as individuals for the Tigers, Brandon Hall shot a 48 and Braydon Schott 60.

Ashton Blades carded a 39 to lead the Storm golfers. Lucas Rambo finished with a 41, Ace Wilson 44, Jax Miller 46 and Braydin Littlepage 48.
Playing as individuals for Hopkins Central, Will Lynch shot 39, Alex Crook 40, Jett Miller 42, Corbin Kinkade 45 and Mason Fliehman 50.
For Livingston, Ty Williams led the way with a 40. Logan Wring and Clay Calender each shot 44, Collin Barnes 48 and Brayden Biggers 49.

Caldwell and Livingston also had girls’ teams in action on Thursday.
The Lady Cardinals totaled a team score of 215, led by Taylor Leahy’s 50. Josie Taylor shot a 51, Emma Belt 55 and Amelia Ray 59.
The Lady Tigers had a team score of 231. Brylee Boitnott and Bryleigh Jordan each shot 57, Hayden Hall 58 and Marlye Harper 59.
