Athletic teams across the area are not just exceptional on the court or on the field. Many of these outstanding young people involved in high school sports are also involved in many different ways in giving back to their school community and their community and are standing out in the classroom.
Those are the teams that are at the top of the list, or an ‘A-Team’ so to say. In this case, the Chick-fil-A ‘A-Team’. Teams that exhibit great core values like accountability, growth, respect to others, quality, and service.
Such is the case with the recent efforts of the fall sports teams at Todd County Central High School. This is just one of those neat things with older students in the Todd County school system showing their support of the younger students across the district.
Todd Central fall sports’ athletes representing soccer, cross country, dance, volleyball, and golf, where on hand to welcome students at the elementary schools across Todd County on High Attendance Day September 9. One of those feel-good things that we call could use seeing more of these days.
This kind of commitment to helping others is a perfect example of the kind of thing that makes the Rebels and Lady Rebels a great Chick-fil-A ‘A-Team.’
